Business Networking Group Seeks New Blood�Starting at the Top

The Business Exchange, Northeast Ohio 's original referral based business development organization has recently been purchased by local entrepreneur Jeff Zemito. Founded 1989, The Business Exchange is a networking and business development company with 10 chapters and over 150 members in the Northeast Ohio area. Jeff, his organization and its members are dedicated to increasing their businesses through a structured, and supportive word of mouth referral based marketing program.

Jeff Zemito a financial planner at Skylight Financial Group and successful small business owner brings his strong leadership skills and enthusiasm to The Business Exchange. When asked about his vision for The Business Exchange Jeff replied: �My goals as President of The Business Exchange are to promote and support the activities of our various chapters, to strengthen the role of the organization within the community, and to bring members together in a networking environment that facilitates the growth of their businesses.� Jeff added, �Currently we are making a strong push to increase our membership and by extension the effectiveness of our organization. We have 10 chapters throughout Northeast Ohio and our actively pursuing new members who can add to our already vibrant community of business owners and sales professionals.�

Far from being merely a �lead� group The Business Exchange offers each member the opportunity to share ideas, contacts, and referrals. The Business Exchange is focused on providing not only �leads� but �introductions� a subtle difference, but one that results in a 70% increase in the likelihood of closing a sale. In addition to referrals and introductions members benefit from ongoing educational opportunities, quarterly organizational workshops, chapter workshops focusing on business development by qualified business coaches, social/business events, and The BE Weekly an e-newsletter detailing the activities of the Business Exchange as well as offering timely content on many of the issues confronting today's business people.

�The Business Exchange goes beyond providing leads and referrals. During the weekly meetings you have the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with other members and learn more about their business and how their business can help you and your customers. The Business Exchange has 10 chapters in the Northeast Ohio area. The organization allows only one person per profession to join a chapter. Visitors are encouraged to attend any of the weekly meetings and/or one of The Business Exchange's frequent Guest Days.
